Pitchfork Cheddar

from £7.50

Creamy, tangy, rich

Named Best Cheddar at the World Cheese Awards, this traditional clothbound Somerset cheddar has deep savoury notes with a crumbly yet creamy texture.

Handmade using traditional methods and to a traditional recipe, Pitchfork Cheddar is made with raw cow's milk. Each cheddar is cloth-bound and matured for 12-14 months and every batch of Pitchfork is subtly different, reflecting the time of year and the cows' pasture. The name Pitchfork comes from the actual pitchforks used to mix the salt into the curds during the cheesemaking process.
